Just a tip for those living in Florida – the state will be waiving sales tax on most preparedness supplies through June 12th (next Sunday), so now’s as good of a time as any to stock up on batteries, flashlights, and first aid kits if you don’t already have them in your home. I went into Wal-Mart the other night and they already had pallets of supplies marked with special signs to let you know what qualifies and what doesn’t, so it should be a pretty straight-forward process…
