We actually celebrated Christmas, for the most part, yesterday evening because Sara had to work today, but nonetheless we still ended up having a pretty good time…
We didn’t do as many lights as last year because we ran out of both time and money, but I did get a chance to upgrade the icicle lights to LEDs which I think look a lot cooler.
Hmmm…what’s that I see just inside the front door? *Wink Wink*
The stockings were hung by our pin collection with care…
I think the tree turned out nice, despite being put up roughly 45 minutes prior to our opening presents!
The first of many family memories to be captured via Christmas tree ornament…
It seemed only fitting to get Sara an educational gift to help prepare her for her final year of nursing school.
She hates peanut butter, and yet what does the loving wife get her husband for Christmas anyways? Now that’s true love!
And if the PB wasn’t enough, apparently I’m to smell like the kitchen for the next three months! And yes, that is pumpkin-scented shower gel that you see…
Christmas just isn’t Christmas without the appropriate snacking paraphernalia.
Sad to say that Mom’s beloved Christmas cookies are almost gone already…but as always, they were certainly delicious.
And of course, the obligatory Christmas card photo.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
Happy New Year!
It took me till New Years Day to actually be able to sit down and open this site since it wouldn’t open at work for me. The house looked nice – much better than all the white crap that was coming down here in NY that night! Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the Newlyweds!! We love you guys!
