Recently I started doing a little writing to help promote the D&D group that I play with, and given that I’m kinda trying to get back into the swing of posting on here again, it seemed only fitting to use some of the space to highlight what I’m already writing elsewhere…
Basically each post is a little summary that I put up a couple of days after the weekly games that we play every Wednesday. The goal is two-fold – both in hoping that new players will appreciate a glimpse at what we do each week and come in to check it out for themselves, and also just as a source of entertainment for those of us that did play, share a laugh or two about special moments during the game, etc… I’m sure that at least to some extent, a lot of the story is much more enjoyable for those of us who were actually there, but even so, sometimes it can just be neat to skim through the photos and check out how other folks are running their games. I know that’s mostly all that I do when I’m flipping through D&D blogs, and because 4e is such a visual game with minis and maps and whatnot, sometimes you see some pretty cool stuff.
Anyways, here are the sessions that I’ve chronicled thus far:
- LFR Adventure Log for 4/7/2010 – Pimp My Ship
- LFR Adventure Log for 3/24/2010 – The Small Ones are Giant Rats
- LFR Adventure Log for 3/17/2010 – The Well of Despair
Going forward, I’ll probably just post a link to the actual post over in Anthem’s forums and that’s about it. Frankly, this is more for me to help keep track of the entries I’ve written over time because it’s easy to lose track of these amidst all of the other forum topics that come and go, but if anyone else enjoys reading them or even just looking at the pretty pictures in the process, then more power to ya! 🙂
