Case in point of why I’m kind of excited about this new direction in my weight loss efforts – tonight we made a veggie pizza for dinner … and I actually liked it!
That’s a whole wheat crust, spicy tomato sauce, and four-cheese blend with green and red peppers, onions, mushrooms, and the most surprising of all – eggplant – on top.
Now it’s no secret that I love pizza and if I had to give that up, too, it might be a more difficult proposition to make. That said, if I have to cut back on the stuffed crusts and meat lovers varieties for a little bit in order to be successful, at least knowing that I can still indulge in a slightly different fashion puts my mind, and my stomach, somewhat at ease!
