It’s a son of a gun of a chorus…

What’s up?

  • Thanksgiving passed us by last week without incident…not that one was expected, mind you. Several of my co-workers were kind enough to invite me into their homes in light of my own family living far, far away, and dinner was great! It was definitely good to just get away from the city for a day…
  • I got an early Christmas present from Mom this year, so I opted to pick up a new digital camerato replace my old one that broke about a year ago. So far it seems to be very nice – ultra compact (kinda makes me feel like a spy!) – but I haven’t really gotten a chance to see the photo quality from it yet. Maybe I’ll have to take it downtown with me tomorrow and just wander around for a bit.
  • Work has been, for lack of a better term, extremely frustratinglately, mostly because of office politics and immaturity. I left pissed off at least two out of the four days that I worked last week, so that can’t be good. Why can’t people just sit and do their jobs, rather than snoop around in search of things to complain about that don’t technically even involve them???
  • STARTING TOMORROW, I’m going to begin exercising – seriously! Even if it’s just a few sit-ups at the beginning and end of each day, taking the stairs every so often at work, or whatever – I’d hate to see it have to come down to my getting up even earlier to run or something! Must. Lose. Weight…
  • This is bad – I’ve had the Star Wars trilogy for week, but so far I’ve only watched the first one. It looks like in addition to getting a Christmas tree and setting it up, I’ll also have to squeeze in episode five to the agenda…after work, that is…
  • But alas, whatever this week brings forth, only six days from now I’ll be watching the fireworks at Epcot with the fellas. Damn – it took me fourteen months of living here to finally step inside a Disney theme park! 😛
  • P.S. I might write up something clever to reiterate what I’ve been most thankful for this year tomorrow night or something, but in the meantime I’ve been told that this one is kind of entertaining…
